Fringe Benefits Tax Simplifier Application

GUI Computing has been working with KPMG since 1994 when we first developed the FBT Simplifier application. Since that time we have worked closely with their Tax Division to modify the application to ensure that the application reflects ongoing changes made to the related taxation legislation. In this time our development teams have formed excellent working relationships with the KPMG Staff.

Rewrites of the FBT Simplifier application have been designed and developed from scratch by GUI Computing and always incorporates leading edge technology design and tools to maximise the reliability of functionality and speed of development. In redevelopment, the navigation framework for the application was improved to allow users to have faster and easier access to data contained within entities and provide a far easier environment for expansion and modification by future developers.

We have also worked on custom versions of the application for some of KPMG's larger clients, as well as performing the annual legislative changes on the application.

Tax Consolidation Application

GUI Computing has also recently developed the Tax Consolidation software for KPMG. The development of this application allowed us to leverage knowledge from the existing FBT simplifier application in such areas as reporting and data extraction facilities. This enabled us to reduce the development time and cost, and has provided KPMG with a standardised look and feel across their tax applications.
